You might have a lot of reasons for trying to get healthier. You might want to be able to play harder with your children or grandchildren. You might want to lose weight to look and feel better. You might want to try to become less dependent on medications or doctors.
Everyone has their own reasons to get healthy. But the only reasons that matter are your own. The reasons that you are doing this for yourself.
Ultimately it doesn’t matter what others want or think. It matters what you think of yourself, about your own body and your own health.
Just as no one else’s reasons should matter but your own, no one can do this for you. No one has the power to put you on the path to vibrant health...
Only you have the power to make that change!
Taking control of your health, taking control of your mind and body, is just a bigger part of taking care of yourself.
One of the hardest things to overcome when you think about your body is your own hurtful thoughts toward yourself.
Only you have the power to change your thinking. Changing the way you think about yourself isn’t easy. It’s a process that everyone has to go through. But you can do it.
For every bad thought that you have about yourself, I want you to counter it with a good thought.
If you think to yourself, “I’ll never be able to move like that,” counter it with “I can move my body in my own unique and powerful way.”
When you think to yourself, “I’m not going to be that skinny,” counter it with “I’m going to become healthy.”
When you counter harmful thoughts with positive ones, it changes your thinking. It allows you to see the positive, the good. It allows you to be kind to yourself.
Eventually you will find yourself having those harmful thoughts less and less often... and being kind to yourself will have become a habit.
When you recognize that you have the power to change the way you think, the way you approach your health, you will quickly recognize that you have the power to change your life.
You can take control of every aspect of your life and make it what will give you the most happiness, the most peace.
Coming into your vibrant health isn’t just about moving your body and eating the right foods. It’s about taking control, being kind to yourself, changing the way you think, and becoming a healthier and happier you.
You can do it! You are worth the investment!
